About Daniel
Daniel Jones was the technical whiz in Savage Garden - being the band's sequencer, keyboardist and guitarist. A little more reserved than Darren, his tastes and personality made the two complete polar opposites. While Darren revelled in his world of pop music, Daniel would prefer less commercial bands. This influenced his take on the music, blending it with Darren's lyrics and creating catchy melodies that would make their unique pop songs surefire hits.

Daniel was generally the quiet one, preferring life in the recording studio than the limelight. But when he was on stage he was legendary...a true star alongside Darren. Pounding live guitar riffs and sparkling solos made Daniel a real Guitar God.

However...despite Daniel's love for music, the pop star thing just wasn't for him. He decided that his true calling was in the recording studio, not on the stage. After coming to a mutual decision with Darren that Savage Garden was over, the two went their seperate ways...Darren on to his solo career. And Daniel on to his vocation in producing. He currently has his own company, Meridien Music, and produces shiny new band, Aneiki, in Brisbane.
